I've been watching the vid clips saved from Youtube about the "Republic of Transnistria: Weapons trafficking" and the narrator/reporter comments on the 14th Army still being there, with tens of thousands of troops and dozens of tank divisions...

Does anyone have information as to what type of AFV's and how many the 14th Army actually had at that time when Transnistria was "created" in 1990?

I did find this documentary quite fascinating, especially where you begin to hear about the Kolbasna stockpile. Quite scary really when you think about how much stuff is stored in place like that. Its just a shame British TV don't have a few more things like this on, it might encourage me to turn the TV on more than once a month...
