Thanks much Tony, especially the ammo cutaways.

I wonder what happened to that 30mm on that Renault AMC? Not a good way to sell your product.

Nice job, Tony.
What scares me about several of those RWS designs,
is just how open some of the components are, especially feed chutes.
There's no protection for the chutes from even small arms fire (bad for ammo that, usually for small arms and autocannon-caliber rounds, isn't insensitive).
Plus, the majority of them, because of all the exposed bits, they look like fair-weather-only systems.
Sure, they'll hold up under temperate and even desert conditions, but what happens when we find ourselves involved in the next Battle of Bastogne environment, with sub-zero temps, excessive snow and ice, sleet, freezing rain, etc?
At least, I'd like to think that some sort of flexible weatherproof material could be sleeved around many of the exposed parts to keep them moisture proof and free of ice getting in there and fouling up the works.
I'd even think that desert dirt, sand, and grit could get in there just as easily, causing pieces to wear out sooner, or stopping them up altogether.
I want to believe that designers took changing weather conditions into account when they design this stuff...
Perhaps they're just showing off the "skinless" versions at EuroSatory and elsewhere just so people can see their inner workings?

I assumed it was a dummy gun in plastic or something, which was suffering in the heat...or perhaps it was just a new approach to obtaining sufficient gun depression
